Alaska, also known as “The Great Land” or “The Last Frontier,” is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, the Bering Sea, the Chukchi Sea, and the Beaufort Sea, a marginal sea of the Arctic Ocean. Alaska is the only state to border two nations and it also holds many records and unique landmarks such as North America’s biggest earthquake and tsunami, the Nation’s greatest concentration of glaciers, and North America’s tallest mountain.
